Design

Minerva Megelli RE & RV designed to excel both in terms of performance and the trendsetting style. Minerva has used body panels to the maximum with covering for both sides of the engine and extends up to the footrest of pillion passenger. The beast like the design of headlight cluster with twin eye halogen headlight, rear view mirrors and windscreen matches with the bold image created by body panels. The body panels enhance the aerodynamic features of the bike during high-speed riding and also direct the air flow on to the engine for better cooling. The dimensional features of the bike include 1990mm X 780mm X 1060mm (Length X Width X Height) and wheelbase 1350mm. The ground clearance of 165mm makes it easy to ride on standard road conditions.

Engine, economy and performance

Minerva Megelli RE &RV feature single cylinder 247cc engine with water cooling system delivering the power of 26hp at 9000rpm and torque of 22Nm at 7000rpm. The engine is mated to the five-speed manual transmission with one down and four upshifts. The superb power output can propel the vehicle to reach a top speed of 150kmph in the very short interval. The updated technology used for the engine and transmission indicated within excellent mileage of 41kmpl in standard road conditions.

Handling

The sporty design of the bike with a single seat provide comfortable posture for the rider. The handlebar and the fuel tank design gives bent posture for the rider resulting in better handling over high-speed riding. The pillion rider seat made sleek and angular lift given for the seat make the pillion rider to bend forward getting accurate posture for long rides. Wider profile of the tyres with rating 80/90 R17 for front and 120/70 R17 for rear tyre get the best grip over wet and slippery road conditions.
